You pick me up and then you throw me down because you can, yet somehow I'm the one who comes off weak and in your eyes. Now tell me why you say that it's okay these games you play? You're always sheltered by your ego-minded disguise. You must be Mr. Ordinary, trying to fix my feelings so that you can have me. But no, I ain't gonna fall for you. It comes so easy for you, it comes so easy when you say, "You can't be a preacher but a Sunday School teacher, we are different male and you." Now tell me why you say that it's okay these games you play? You're always sheltered by your ego-minded disguise. It's guys like you that make me hate you. It's guys like you that make me want to. It's guys like you that make me wonder why I even try.

I have hurt so much. I have cried a thousand times, but now I feel the healing is ready to begin. I have counted loss. I have multiplied the pain, but now it's time to erase the misery I became. This is not what I planned. I got more than what I wanted. Take a look inside, see what you will find. I am only human, vulnerability's all that's bind. Take another step closer, you can see behind my eyes the mask that is in front of me holding up a strong disguise. I at times have judged. I've imprisoned the character of a man through his intentions hiding weaknesses as they came. I've counted up their loss. There were times when I ignored the praise that they deserved due to misery I became.

We're living with restriction. We've made condemnation. The rich, well they've got hungry. The world is built on pride. We're living with restriction. We've made condemnation. The poor, well they're still hungry and we have stolen their sound. I don't mean to be rude, but have you looked at you? You're path has gone off track. It's time to get your self-respect back. You've done all you can, that's what you said to me. Well I'm not buying that, the fact is you're just lazy. I know it seems I pry, but I aint got the time to sit and wait for you to cut your selfish moves. You've deceived your kind. You've made a mockery of what is seen as right in this society. Restriction, we have entrapped civilisation. Restriction, we have entrapped all creation.

Once upon she knew that he wanted her, nobody else would do. He'd follow her around, so she kicked him off the floor, she did not want no war. She would apologise as she loved the attention, kept her satisfied. His heart was only new so she didn't want to be the one to make it bruised. So she found another loved, he ended up breaking her heart. And he said, "I'll take you if you take me and together we can make a melody of who we are and what we've become. Let's not go back to when we were young." So one day she gave in, though her heart was this sore from the heartache before. He gave her a smile and said, "Don't you worry Honey, I'll protect you this time." She found slowly with time that she wanted to phone him, like a hundred times. He was a practical boy, so he didn't see the health in it, so she got annoyed. How have the tables turned? He loves her yet she feels like she follows him around. And she said, "My need is not needy. It's my loving vulnerability. Your closeness is comfort and you love me for me." And they said...

Hard To Say Goodbye

Those who are weary will find rest. Those who feel heartbreak will find strength. Wiping away tears does not drain a memory, but shows acceptance of your bravery. Reveal your brokenness, relieve your pain, for a time will come when you're well again. Do not dread what was planned with time, because it's hard to say goodbye. It's hard to get your head around it. It is hard to face reality. Soaking in sorrow can make your head hurt with pain, but hold on to the promise that you have so much to gain. Your tears are like never before and you can't take anymore. I know you feel all alone, but I will see you at home.
